February 2017- Performance

Happy Valentines Day! I’m back in Hudson Warehouse’s annual Many Faces of Love Monologue Festival. I’m so excited to perform “Consolation” by the award winning Scott C. Sickles.

January 2017- New Year! New Teacher!

I am excited to begin voice lessons with Kathryn Armour, vocal coach of the Fiasco Theater Company. Incorporating the Alexander Technique into my musical theatre performance is preparing me for the 2017 audition season.

December 2016- Networking

I am pleased to get to know Stephanie Klapper’s by taking her two-week “From Stage to Screen” class at One-on-One. She gave me honest feedback about how to transition from young ingénue to leading lady in my repertoire.

November 11, 2016- Performance

I am honored to perform in another Veteran’s Day reading at the Bernie Wohl Center, this time as a tribute to Veterans of the Vietnam War. I play Eddie Meeks (the only female in the piece) who volunteers for the Army Nurse Corps to be there for her drafted brother. We had a pleasure of meeting several Veterans portrayed in the piece and moved them with our honest portrayal of their experiences.

November 3, 2016- Another Callback!

I am thrilled to be called back for a National Tour at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. I had a great work session with director Jerry Whiddon and hopes to collaborate with this incredible theater in the future.

October 2016- Callback

I was called back to play Belle in a musical production of “A Christmas Carol” in NYC.

September 2016- Training

I return to studying the Alexander Technique in Karen Braga’s four-week workshop. It feels great to free my body and voice of tension and apply this technique to my work on classical text.

August 2016- Performances

Performances of "Othello" continue for three weekends through a heat wave and several rainy evenings. The cast embraces the saying “the show must go on!”

July 2016- A dream role begins

I've started rehearsals to play Desdemona in Hudson Warehouse's August production of "Othello". I am thrilled to be working with fight director Jared Kirby on another role full of complicated stage combat. The show opens July 31 and not a single audience member budges when it starts to rain Act V!

I am called back for Premier Stages and am offered to understudy the role of Yaz in "Water By the Spoonful".

Kate Murray's classical monologue workshop at One on One is truly inspiring. I have always admired the work of the Public Theatre, especially their summer season of Shakespeare in the Park.
